Camp Sarah Leadership Team

  • Debbie Isser

    CO-CAMP DIRECTOR

Debbie came to Nigeria in 2021 for her job at the World Bank and was so thrilled to be welcomed into this amazing Jewish community. She co-founded Camp Sarah with Moshe Nwafor in 2023 in response to community members' desire for their children to have a strong Jewish identity and sense of belonging. Together, they adapted the model of Jewish camps in America and France while allowing the joy, beautiful melodies, and dance, and uniquely Nigerian spirit to shine through. She is so proud of how far camp has come and especially of the counselors who are now running the show.
